Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Manager to lead the delivery and resilience of IT infrastructure services in our Dublin office. Operating in a regulated financial services environment, the successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring compliance with the Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA), while managing infrastructure across on-premises and cloud platforms. The role also involves governance of third-party providers and managed services to ensure consistent, high-quality delivery. The role reports to the Head of IT Operations. This is a full time, permanent role.
Job Responsibilities
- Disaster Recovery (DR): Develop, maintain, and test DR and business continuity plans, ensuring alignment with DORA and other regulatory frameworks.
- Backup & Storage Management: Oversee enterprise backup solutions and storage infrastructure, ensuring secure, compliant, and recoverable systems.
- Network Management: Ensure availability, performance, and security of network infrastructure (LAN, WAN, VPN, firewalls).
- Microsoft 365 Administration: Manage M365 platform including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, Intune, and associated compliance/security features.
- Third-Party & MSP Oversight: Manage relationships with third-party vendors and managed service providers, including contract performance, SLA adherence, service reviews, and escalation handling.
- Compliance & Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation for all systems and controls. Ensure full compliance with DORA, GDPR, and financial regulatory standards.
- Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams (cybersecurity, compliance, risk, service delivery) to drive operational excellence and ensure continuous improvement.
Job Responsibilities
Education
- Certifications such as ITIL, Microsoft (Azure/M365), Cisco, or ISO 27001 are advantageous.
Experiences
- 5+ years’ experience managing IT infrastructure in a regulated financial services environment.
- Strong knowledge of DORA, IT risk and resilience, and business continuity standards.
- Experience working with third-party vendors and MSPs, with a focus on performance management and governance.
- Technical expertise in backup solutions (e.g., Veeam, Rubrik), storage systems, M365, and networking technologies.
