Job Overview

Reporting to the Senior Finance Transformation Manager, the jobholder will be a key member of the Finance team, working on a wide range of projects and assignments, ensuring that the highest level of decision support and analysis is available to the business as well as ensuring that the control function of the Finance team is operating effectively.

Job Responsibilities

  • Support the Finance team in operating, improving and automating controls on financial transactions and data.
  • Assist in the production of financial reporting for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Take ownership of key financial controls, systems, processes and data – over time, becoming the subject matter expert referred to by the business when queries arise.
  • Contribute to projects in the Finance team and wider business change initiatives – implementing new accounting standards or regulations, new products and new systems.
  • Identifying opportunities to leverage technology for process improvement and skills transfer to other members of the team.
  • Any other duties as may be assigned by the Senior Finance Transformation Manager.

Job Responsibilities

Education

  • Third-level degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
  • 3+ years of experience in a similar role.

  • A strong team player with the proven ability to work with others to accomplish common objectives.

  • Effective planning, organisation and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, macros).
  • Experience with SQL for data manipulation and reporting.
  • Familiarity with reporting and visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) is an advantage.
