Job Overview

An opportunity has arisen for a Company Secretary Administrator to join the team and work in-house with a listed plc and regulated entity. 

Location: FBD House, Bluebell, Dublin 12

Job Responsibilities

  • Draft agendas in advance of Board and Board Committee meetings for review;
  • Prepare Board and Committee meeting Packs for review;
  • Arrangements for Board and Committee Meetings, including reserving meeting rooms, making lunch arrangements and organise travel arrangements where necessary;
  • Maintain Company Secretarial Records and update whenever any relevant changes occur; 
  • Liaise with Directors regarding availability and organise Director Training according to the training schedule;
  • Complete the Board and Board Committee checklist for meetings; Log all post received;
  • Deal with queries and requests, on a day-to-day basis, from clients, shareholders, auditors and staff;
  • Process invoices for Company Secretarial Function;
  • Represent the Company in a professional manner and enhance the perception of the Company as client oriented, proactive and dedicated to providing a superior service;
  • Support the Company Secretarial Function with administrative tasks; and
  • Provide administrative support to the Group Company Secretary.

Education

  • Leaving Certificate or equivalent exam.

  • Previous similar experience
  • Effective organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks
  • Ability to work to deadlines
  • Ability to work on own initiative
  • Strong written communication skills with proven ability in the use of the English language
  • Ability to work as part of a team

This role sits within Pay Band A of FBD’s Commercial's Pay band

Footer

This role will involve travelling around Ireland from time to time, therefore, a full drivers license is required. Mileage will be provided.
